Slayers TRY Collection

This series of books was released just before the TRY TV series went off the air. Each of the three books details eight or more episodes of the series, starting with a poster and a brief pictorial montage before launching into a 4-6 page review of each episode. Interspersed among the episodes are bonus picture galleries, and in the back of each book is a much more detailed black-and-white section which tells about the production of the series. These books are REALLY worth getting for the avid TRY fan.

	Slayers TRY Collection #1 First released August 10, 1997 by Fujimishobo ISBN4-8291-7355-6, 1500 yen; 80 pages, 64 in color. Covers TV episodes 1-8. Includes a summary of the first two series, a still frame collection of the intro animation, and character sketches for the major characters.
	Slayers TRY Collection #2 First released December 10, 1997 by Fujimishobo ISBN4-8291-7356-4, 1500 yen; 96 pages, 64 in color. Covers TV episodes 9-18. Includes an eyecatch collection, Filia and Xellos galleries, character sketches, spell list, and an explanation of the Slayers TRY world.
	Slayers TRY Collection #3 First released February 25, 1998 by Fujimishobo ISBN4-8291-7357-2, 1600 yen; 96 pages, 64 in color. Covers TV episodes 19-26. Includes a "goofy" eyecatch collection, a still frame collection of the final episode's ending animation, special interviews with the creators, color tests for the main characters, and a special "Goods List" which lists and shows all the Slayers TRY merchandise released at press time.
