Shoko Yoshinaka Manga

The stories for volumes 1-3 follow episodes 1-10 of the first TV series (the Shabranigdu story arc), while Volume 4 takes a departure to tell the story of the Slayers Return movie. Volumes 5 and 6 picks up where 3 left off, telling a different version of the Copy Rezo arc and bringing Amelia, Sylpheel, and Xelloss into the plot through slightly different means. If it seems that the manga volumes were released more slowly at this point, it's probably because Ms. Yoshinaka was also busy with her work on Slayers' sister work, Lost Universe, for which she not only did the manga and novel illustrations, but also character designs for the anime.
